Gex, an anthropomorphic gecko living in Maui, Hawaii, is a TV-obsessed couch potato who inherited a fortune from his great-uncle. In the first game, he’s pulled into the Media Dimension by Rez, the overlord of this TV-inspired world, via a drone disguised as a fly. Gex must collect remote controls to destroy TVs and escape. In the sequels, Gex continues his adventures, battling Rez and his henchmen across parodic levels mimicking genres like sci-fi, horror, and spy films. His sarcastic humor, voiced by Dana Gould, is a hallmark of the series, with over 300 one-liners per game.
Limited Run Games offers additional GEX Trilogy merch, including a shirt ($29.99–$34.99), controller ($69.99), hat ($31.99), skate deck ($74.99), poster ($49.99), art print set ($24.99), puzzle ($29.99), pin set ($34.99), and commemorative coin.
