Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone | Official Teaser Trailer is the second official teaser for HBO’s live-action series adaptation, released today (September 2, 2026) on the official Harry Potter YouTube channel.

The series premieres Christmas 2026 on HBO and streams on HBO Max. Season 1 is an eight-episode adaptation of the first book.

What’s in the new teaser
It shifts focus from the March 2026 first teaser (which emphasized life with the Dursleys) to Hogwarts itself. Scenes include:

• McGonagall addressing first-years

• Snape’s pointed comments toward Harry

• Stone research, hints of Fluffy, Wizard’s Chess, the Mirror of Erised, and a cave troll)

The tone is more colorful and cinematic than the first teaser, with stronger production values noted by reviewers.
