Specs

Age: 18+ Price: $229.99
Size: ~17 in (45 cm) long × 6.5 in (17 cm) wide × 4 in (10 cm) high

It is smaller and cheaper than the 2019 76139 1989 Batmobile (3,306 pieces, ~24 in long). The trade-off is the new transformation function and a more compact display footprint.
Main features The standout is the Batmissile transformation. Press a button at the rear and the side panels drop away, revealing the slim escape vehicle hidden inside—the first LEGO Batmobile to include this movie sequence. Extra pieces let you finish the Batmissile as a standalone display. You can show either configuration.
Other details:
Opening canopy with a detailed single-seat cockpit (steering wheel and controls)
Jet turbine rear, bat-wing fins, and movie-accurate body lines
Six hidden Easter eggs, including Penguin’s tracking device and a cockpit sticker of Penguin taunting Batman
New molded elements developed for this set
Minifigure One exclusive figure: Michael Keaton’s Batman from Batman Returns, with a newly molded cowl and cape that drapes over the torso instead of a separate cloth cape. It sits on a small stand printed with the Batman Returns logo. No Penguin or Catwoman—unlike the 1989 set, which included three figures.
Availability right now Insiders early access started yesterday (Sept 1). General release is September 4, 2026. Building instructions are already up on LEGO.com. Secondary-market listings are appearing above MSRP, which is typical for new adult display vehicles.
This sits well next to the 1989 Batmobile if you already have that one—the two cars look distinct on a shelf rather than like a recolor. The transform function is the reason most reviews call it more than just another Batmobile.
