Lord of the Rings Museum Collection Anduril Sword by United Cutlery Review

The United Cutlery Museum Collection Anduril (UC3516) is the 2024 officially licensed upgrade of Aragorn’s “Flame of the West.” It is a display replica, not a battle-ready sword, built to look closer to the hero props from The Return of the King than the older stainless UC1380 version.

It is United Cutlery’s most film-accurate version of Anduril, upgraded from the older stainless UC1380 with a finer polish, more accurate runes, and correctly sized fullers.

What you get: a ~52 7/8″ overall sword with a 40 5/8″ highly polished 1060 high-carbon steel blade, antique silver-plated metal hilt with 24K gold-plated fittings, and a leather-wrapped grip. Each piece is serialized on the blade and comes with a certificate of authenticity, a 14 1/8″ wooden wall plaque with gold-plated Gondor crest and mounting arms, and a blue Gondorian banner. No scabbard is included. Street price is typically $550–$600.

Character: It is a premium wall hanger, not a fighting sword. The blade looks excellent on display, the presentation set is strong, and collectors generally rate the looks and details very highly. The trade-offs are carbon-steel rust care, a rat-tail tang, limited blade stiffness, and the price for a non-functional replica.

Best for fans who want the official licensed Museum Collection look hanging on the wall. Not the right choice if you want something you can actually swing hard.
