PlayStation 5 Prism Collection

PlayStation’s Prism Collection is a newly announced line of transparent PS5 accessories featuring DualSense controllers and matching console covers.

It brings back the late-’90s translucent look in a modern form that fits the PS5’s design. The glossy clear shells let you see the internal components and craftsmanship, with a high-gloss finish that continues across the back of the controllers and metallic center panels on the console covers for contrast.

Colors

Three options, each available as both a DualSense and a matching PS5 cover:

• Flare Orange — bold/vibrant, with a subtle rosy tint where the transparent layers overlap
• Emerald Green — elegant deep hunter/silky green that gains depth from the transparency
• Graphite Gray — refined cool-toned storm gray

• Pre-orders open: November 10, 2026 at 10 a.m. local time (US: 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET) via direct.playstation.com (where available) and participating retailers.
• Launch: Starting February 4, 2027 (exact dates may vary by region).
• Controllers are sold globally. Console covers are primarily exclusive to PlayStation Direct in supported regions (US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Italy) and available in limited quantities elsewhere.

The covers shown are for the current (slim) PS5 model. Official materials don’t list versions for the PS5 Pro or original launch hardware.

The collection was announced on the PlayStation Blog on October 28, 2026, with quotes from designers noting the goal of modernizing the classic transparent trend while keeping it consistent with PS5’s industrial design.
