Marathon Collector’s Edition

The Marathon Collector’s Edition is a premium physical merchandise bundle for the upcoming sci-fi PvPvE extraction shooter Marathon (developed by Bungie, the creators of Halo and Destiny). The game itself launches on March 5, 2026, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam).

Announced and made available for purchase in January 2026, this edition was designed in partnership with PureArts. It features a premium unboxing experience themed around the game’s lore (inspired by Sekiguchi Genetics’ shell-weaving process).

Marathon Collector’s Edition includes:

• 1/6-scale statue of the Thief Runner Shell (with LED lights powered by USB cable)
• Collectible miniature Sekiguchi WEAVEworm (sometimes referred to as a silkworm or worm friend in fan discussions)
• Embroidered patch
• Set of runner art postcards
• Unique bonus digital cosmetics/rewards (redeemable codes for in-game items, starting from the game’s release; some exclusive to the Bungie Store version)
• Additional perks like Destiny 2 runner-themed accessories (for purchases including a game code)

There are two main variants:

The base Collector’s Edition (~$189–$190) includes the physical collectibles but does not include a copy of the game (no physical disc or digital code).

A version with a game code (Deluxe Edition equivalent bundle, ~$229–$230 depending on platform) adds the digital game copy plus the same physical items.
