8BitDo X25 Special Edition Charging Dock for Xbox Wireless Controllers

The 8BitDo Ultimate Charging Dock for Xbox Controllers – X25 Special Edition is the matching dock for the translucent-green Xbox Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition. It’s officially licensed, uses the same OG Xbox green look, and is meant to complete that 25th-anniversary setup.

Price & availability

$39.99. Ships October 20, 2026. Pre-order on the official 8BitDo shop and Amazon.

How it works

It uses a 1000 mAh semi-solid-state lithium battery pack that drops into the controller. You keep the original battery door (no extra contact-pin door). Place the controller on the dock and it charges wirelessly. Charge time is about 3.5 hours.

Design & features

• Translucent green shell matching the X25 controller
• Wireless drop-and-charge (no pins to line up)
• Amber LED while charging, white when full; two brightness levels
• Passive cooling, no fan
Shaped to the controller grips so it sits flush

Compatible with Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One wireless controllers, not just the X25 edition.

What’s in the box

• Dock
• 1000 mAh battery pack
• USB-C cable (no wall adapter)

Dimensions: 121.3 × 74.8 × 73.7 mm, 200 g.

This is the same family as 8BitDo’s earlier Forza Horizon 6 dock, but with the newer wireless battery and the anniversary green finish instead of magnetic contact charging.
