Yakuza Series 20th Anniversary Edition

The Yakuza Series 20th Anniversary Edition is a special digital and physical bundle celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Like a Dragon (formerly Yakuza) franchise, originally launched in 2005. Announced during RGG Summit 2025 on September 24, 2025, it packages three remastered/remade titles to make the early entries more accessible on modern platforms. This bundle focuses on the foundational stories of Kazuma Kiryu, bridging the prequel and sequels for newcomers and longtime fans.

What’s Included in the Bundle

• Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut: New cutscenes, expanded side content, improved visuals/audio, and quality-of-life updates. Launched earlier as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive on June 5, 2025.
• Yakuza Kiwami: Enhanced combat, revamped story beats, and modernized graphics.
• Yakuza Kiwami 2: Upgraded Dragon Engine visuals, new substories, and intense boss battles.

The bundle is available for PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam), with physical editions planned for PS5. Individual titles are also releasing separately, but the Anniversary Edition offers the complete package at a bundled price.

• Full 20th Anniversary Edition Bundle: Launching alongside the ports on December 8, 2025, for PS5 and PC.

Note: Save data from older versions (e.g., original Yakuza 0) won’t carry over to the Director’s Cut. No upgrades for prior owners are planned.
